Is it Christmas yet?

We know the end of November is near but it feels like Christmas is coming earlier this year. It is likely to be because 2020 has been a difficult year for many, and what a better way to cheer yourself up than getting in the festive spirit. We all know someone who has put their Christmas decorations up already, so rather than fight it we are ready to jump in feet first.

This coming weekend is likely to be a dull one as we continue Lockdown here in the UK, so why not snuggle up with a great festive film? We have searched high and low and list our top 3 films to get you in the Christmas spirit.

1.    Home Alone – Does any film really beat this Christmas classic? It has just the right amount of cheesy moments and family fun, it is really one for all to gather around the tele.

2.    Love Actually – Officially rated 'R' but we feel this one is better for the teens and adults. If you are looking for a love-based tear-jerker; you have found it!

3.    The Muppet Christmas Carol - This combination of the Muppets and teaching an old man the meaning of Christmas combine to make the perfect family movie. Sure, this is aimed more at the younger generation, but us adults secretly enjoy it just as much.

4.    The Nightmare Before Christmas – This one divides viewers, is it a Halloween movie or Christmas? Either way, certainly worth a watch.

5.    Santa Claus: The Movie - Quite possibly one of the most wholesome movies you will watch. It is an oldie, released in 1985, but it is sure to take you back to your childhood.

We hope you enjoyed our litlle run down of Christmas films! However, you spend your time, stay safe!
