Major movies to resume production since Covid-19

Here at JH Film Production we are constantly keeping our ear to the ground for the latest news in the production industry. It is safe to say that the news over the last 3 months has been primarily focused on the impact of Covid-19, it has certainly been a strange year.

You can only imagine our excitement to here that major film productions are beginning to resume, you may have enjoyed catching up on your old favourite movies during lockdown but new entertainment could be on its way soon.

Here are just a few of the movies rumoured to be back to business and likely to be on our screens by next year:

1. The Little Mermaid

Adults and children alike are excited about this one. Over the last few years Disney have upped their game, taking their most popular animations and turned them into live-action remakes. The film starring Halle Bailey and Melissa McCarthy was due to start filming in March but the plans had to be put on hold.

2. The Batman

Our obsession with superheroes lives on thanks the new Batman movie, starring Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz. The caped crusader was seen riding a motorcycle through Glasgow in February before production halted.

3. Jurassic World: Dominion

You can never get enough of this dinosaur franchise and the 6th movie will be more than welcome. Universal bosses have spoken out publicly about the safety measures on set to protect everyone involved in the production and filming.

We are far away from returning to the “normal” world of film production, but this latest news is exciting for sure.
